— Who We Are —
Outlaw Country
with a Southern Rock Edge
Michael Petty has been fronting bands and commanding stages for over 25 years — a road-hardened outlaw who knows how to read a room and give the people exactly what they came for.
Leading from the front with his acoustic guitar and a voice that's lived every word he sings, Michael brings together a crew of seasoned road warriors — lead guitar, drums, bass, steel guitar, and a fiddle player when the night calls for it. These ain't hobbyists. These are players who've put in the miles, earned their stripes in honky-tonks and dancehalls across the country, and take real pride in delivering a sound so tight and full you'd swear you were listening to a band opening up for the big acts at a major venue.
After a few years away from the scene — the pandemic took its toll on all of us — that fire never went out. The want and desire to get this thing rolling again only burned hotter. Some things you just can't quit, and playing music for a crowd that came to have a good time is one of them.
The Outlaws Revival blends outlaw country, classic country, and southern rock into one hard-charging, boot-stomping show that keeps the dance floor packed and the good times rolling. From the raw, unapologetic spirit of Waylon and Willie to the hard-driving riffs of Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, we bring authentic Texas dancehall energy to every stage we touch. And here's the thing — we know how to throw a party without blowing out your eardrums. Big sound, big vibe, but you can still hold a conversation at the bar. That's the mark of pros who've been doing this long enough to know better.

Our Influences
The Legends We Live By ✦
The artists who shaped our sound — you'll hear every one of them when we play.
✦ Waylon Jennings
Waylon's outlaw spirit is in our DNA — his defiance, his groove, and that unmistakable baritone swagger run through everything we do on stage
Willie Nelson
Willie taught us that less is more — that space between the notes matters as much as the notes themselves. His phrasing lives in Michael's vocal delivery every night
Hank Williams Jr.
Bocephus showed us how to bridge outlaw country and southern rock into one hard-charging sound — rowdy, proud, and built for a crowd that came to have a real good time
Merle Haggard
Merle's honesty and grit shaped how we approach every song — no fluff, no filler, just real music played by real people for real folks who work hard and play harder
George Strait
The King of Country set the standard for Texas dancehall — tight band, pure tone, and a show that keeps the floor packed from the first note to the last call
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Skynyrd's southern rock fire is the backbone of our electric sound — when our lead guitarist digs in, you'll feel every bit of that Free Bird spirit shaking the walls
Allman Brothers Band
The Allmans gave us permission to stretch out and let the music breathe — their bluesy, soulful groove is what separates a good band from a great one
Alabama
Alabama proved you could be country, rock, and massive all at once — their anthems remind us why we do this: to fill a room with energy and send people home smiling
Marshall Tucker Band
The Tucker Band's blend of country, rock, and jazz gave our sound its depth — that flute-meets-fiddle feel is exactly the kind of unexpected soul we bring to every set
Johnny Cash
Cash's presence and authority on stage is something we chase every single night — that commanding stillness that makes a whole room go quiet and lean in
ZZ Top
Three chords, Texas attitude, and more groove than most bands could dream of — ZZ Top showed us that swagger and simplicity are the most powerful tools in the box
David Allan Coe
DAC never apologized for who he was — that unapologetic outlaw authenticity is something we carry with us every time we plug in and take the stage
And So Many More...
Brooks & Dunn • Tom Petty • Kenny Chesney • The Eagles — if it gets the boots moving, we play it
